What if your temp gauge inside does read the temp of the engine and that's how we see it overheat... Wouldn't the sensor be good?

man tell us please how that sensor works? it is 2 pin sensor and sends signal to dme and ike at the same time? if i have correct reading on ike, can have incorrect reading at dme?

I did the same thing and even bough the rear temp sensor for it. However, the engine light still throws a code for faulty temp sensor unit...but they are both new. Maybe pig tail it bad?

ratchet wrenches are to fat to fit in there to remove thermostat bolts still not to bad the issue i had fun with was removing the fuel pressure regulator itself cause it was on tight had to use 2 wrenches

That part that has the bleeder you were pointing to loosen and let the air out, mine is cracked. I think its an etc sensor. I have coolant leaking out of it. When I remove that and put the new on do I have to loosen that again and fill my reservoir and let the air our like you did? It just a plastic part.
